A week for yourself with yoga, meditation and connection in the beautiful South of France. This retreat offers a
perfect balance of physical challenge and relaxation through Hatha Yoga, meditation and healthy nutrition.

Life is all about change, making decisions, surrender and everything that comes with it. This can cause the necessary stress and uncertainties. This week is all about positive intentions, gratitude and integration of the Yoga knowledge translated into our daily life. Practical and grounded with a lot of light and harmonizing energy.

The yoga classes and workshops are given by Jan & Marjolein. But there’s more! Some days are supplemented with a picnic by the lake / beach, cooking workshop or walking meditation. There is plenty of time for other activities and / or relaxation.

The team

Marjolein Rikkelman

From 2014, the search for lasting happiness became so strong that Marjolein started a 2-year yoga teacher training. Since then, the self-examination has only deepened. She has further developed her knowledge of Vedanta, the ancient Sanskrit texts on self-realization, yoga and freedom and is a student of Swamini Atmaprakashananda. She also studied Ayurveda, is a Marma therapist and Mindfulness trainer. For a year now she has had her own studio, Studio Yama for Yoga & Mindfulness in Rotterdam.

Marjolein’s vision is to pass on self-knowledge in a contemporary way, without losing the authenticity of the origin. Everyone has the right to be themselves and be happy. With her enthusiasm and love for knowledge, she is happy to help you.


Jan & Cynthia van den Maagdenberg

At the beginning of 2021, a dream of Jan and Cynthia will become reality: they open WAYA Mindful Holidays & Retreats at Domaine Saint Domingue in Narbonne. They would like to share this beautiful place with anyone who needs a moment of peace, relaxation, reflection, new inspiration or more connection. To facilitate you in this, they offer yoga and meditation classes, healing, coaching and haptotherapy themselves and they work together with other experts.

WAYA stands for “welcome as you are”. Jan and Cynthia are there for you if you wish, and give you the space you need. They are happy to welcome you, welcome you as you are.

What is included in the price besides the program

  • 7 nights in luxury accommodation, a serene double room with ensuite bathroom and toilet;
  • Towels and bed linen are provided;
  • Use of the garden and the two swimming pools;
  • Welcome drink, healthy snack and dinner on arrival;
  • 3 vegetarian meals per day and unlimited fruit, water, tea, coffee and snacks;
  • optional: at the beginning and end of the week an analysis of your physical and mental / emotional health with the Healy (you can read more about the Healy here);
  • optional: a daily treatment with the Healy worth € 75;
  • 1 massage (more massages possible at an additional cost);
  • Free use of yoga mats and meditation cushions;
  • Extensive breakfast on the day of departure;
  • Transfer from Airport Montpellier Méditerranée or TGV station Narbonne.

What is possible on location and not included in the price

  • Coaching conversations (possibly based on body work);
  • Extra massages.

What you’ll have to arrange yourself

  • Travel to Montpellier Méditerranée Airport, Narbonne TGV station or Domaine Saint Domingue in Narbonne;
  • Travel and cancellation insurance (we recommend taking out insurance that also covers if you cannot come because you have Covid yourself or due to a lockdown in France or the country where you live).
